About the Blogger

My vegan journey started when I was in college working as a barista at the now defunct Borders Bookstore chain. Not surprisingly, I had a lot of time on my hands. Having struggled for years with body image issues, it was fortuitous that I was stationed next to the 'diet and nutrition' section. Hours of reading in and out of work sparked me to start on my path to where I am now: confident, happy, and excited to share all the tips, tricks, and recipes I have learned along the way.


Your body is so fabulous why would you not want to take the best care of it you can?  I am thankful every day for the health and positive mindset that I get from plant based eating. My cholesterol has dropped 55 points, my weight no longer bounces around and my energy level is better than ever. Join the movement.
